Terms of Use
Discata is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add a few points specific to Discata. If they conflict with Apple’s EULA, Apple’s EULA applies.
Your music
Discata plays audio files that you provide. You are responsible for having the right to use the music you import. Discata does not supply, sell or stream music.
Artwork and lyrics
Optional online look-ups display artwork from the Cover Art Archive and MusicBrainz, and lyrics from LRCLIB. This content belongs to its respective owners and is shown for personal use with music you own. We do not guarantee its accuracy or availability.
Ads and the ad-free purchase
- The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. See the Privacy Policy.
- “Remove ads forever” is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase sold by Apple. It removes ads from Discata on devices using the same Apple Account, for as long as Discata is available. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Offer codes are issued at our discretion, have no cash value and may expire.
Hearing safety
Sound processing such as EQ, rooms and bass enhancement can make music louder. Listen at moderate volume and take breaks. We are not responsible for hearing damage from listening at high volume.
No warranty
Discata is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties and are not liable for loss of data or other damages arising from use of the app. Keep backups of your music files. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continuing to use Discata after a change means you accept the updated terms.
